Across the Voices of Leadership interviews, one skill rose above ALL others —𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲.

Not big, dramatic courage.
𝗗𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆, 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆, 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲.

Leaders shared examples like:
• 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗼𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 — even when it felt uncomfortable.
• 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 because progress mattered more than perfection.
• 𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, knowing it was the most supportive thing they could do.
• 𝗢𝘄𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗹𝘆 to model transparency and psychological safety for their teams.

These weren’t “heroic” moments.
They were 𝘩𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭 ones.

𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲, 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆, 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆.
