The small, quiet work matters.
My son and I were watching Olympic ski jumping this week and he was in absolute awe. The speed. The precision. The focus. The moment they leave the ramp and just fly.
We talked about how those athletes donโt just show up. They prepare. Again and again. Reps. Routines. Refinements. They build strength and stamina, but they also build trust in their process. What we see on TV is only the result of thousands of invisible moments that came before it.
It reminded me of how similar our own growth is as leaders, parents, teammates, and humans. The small, quiet work matters. The private practice matters. The mental preparation matters. And one day, you lift off and suddenly you realize youโre flying into a new version of yourself too.
